...Well that suited the smiling baby before me, very very well ! And so he was Kurt, I believe he chose his name well.

Kurt's early life was one of wonderment, and amazement. He was a smiling adventurous little boy, with a mop of blonde curls, as a teen he would try to make those curls lie flat to no avail ! no amount of hair gel could transform the wild curls ..... he was later to find a way ....... ah the buzz cut ! that fixed 'em !!!!!

School provided Kurt with friends, lots and lots of friends ! he began school in Liverpool, then attended Putney where he met Adam O'Brien who was to become a very special mate indeed, Adam would dare Kurt to venture where he would not otherwise go, and Kurt provided Adam with a safety zone ( much to the relief of Mum Rhonda !) (Aries and Taurus combo lol). Kurt loved his mates at primary school, gave Soccer a go, Judo, and Cricket, but the most enjoyable time for him was with his friends. This was to be a pattern for his entire life.

"Why don't we buy a house in the mountains ?" exclaimed Deborah to a very tired Drew one Sunday morning. "What !!!!" came the reply, but a very quaint home they did buy, this was to become Kurt's real 'home' his 'base' and the only home he knew from 8 yrs till 2002. Kurt loved that home, with its irregularities and 'vibes' but most of all the bush which is still as it was when we moved here in 1991, this provided Kurt with a wonderful nature playground, full of lizards, and snakes ! much to his surprise when he encountered a red bellied black snake which he mistook for a lizard when he grabbed its tail. Angus Rohan and Austin enjoy it today as he did, thank God for Mother Nature, Gaia, Sony/Nintendo will never replicate this ( well lets see them try !)
