Senseless

Perception eats the heart of wild and free,

as though mere life is at our beck and call,

with false reality to rule the world.

a victor could a whole creation scorn.

And in the face of God show off their wrath

though life exists for one eternity,

one takes, one gives, one forfeits, who knows why

a sacred life is plucked from history ?

The watchman lost his house,

patrolmen missed their prey,

angels slept through death,

how could I pass this way ?

Yet even death deceives the darkest thief,

for life transcends the lure of empty ground.

Corrupt and worthless vermin eat their waste

While innocence on high is proudly crowned
